Cotton Arms Wrenbury
The Cotton Arms is named after the local Cotton family who where once resident at nearby Combermere Abbey.It is the oldest of the two public houses in the village of Wrenbury in the heart of Cheshire. The centre part of the pub dating back to the 16th century. It is also said to be built with ships' timbers and a tributary from the River Weaver flows through the cellar.
Llangollen Canal

The Cotton Arms is ideally situated beside the Llangollen Canal, convenient for canal users, walkers and caravanners. A variety of meals are available to be enjoyed in the restaurant or beer garden, and the pub was included in the Good Beer Guide for 2001. At the rear of the pub are a crown green bowling green, function room, and a caravan site which is one of the Caravan Club's certified locations, Rallies Welcome.
